I have been in the data processing field for more than 30 years, with over 10 years as an independent consultant. I have worked for large corporations (Prudential Insurance, Beneficial Finance and Litton Industries) where I worked in the Computer Operations and Technical Support Departments and also for a medium sized company (New Jersey Educational Computer Network) where I was the Software Director. I also had long term consulting engagements at Nabisco and Hoechst Celanese. My background has always been in the service area, either internal or external. When working for Litton and NJECN, I worked with many of our external clients that ranged in size from a sole proprietorship to the Department of Defense. I have dealt with companies in many industries as well as governmental agencies and educational institutions.

I initially started as a Computer Operator then became a Systems Programmer in the Technical Support Department. I have also held management level positions, but always maintained current technical skills. I worked with IBM and compatible mainframes using several operating systems as well as some mid-range systems. I have been working with personal computers for over 20 years and various networks for more than 15 years. I have experience with wide area networks and local area networks.

I am currently providing computer consulting and services primarily to home users and small businesses, focusing on PC and network support and website design and support.
